1. Acceptance

By accessing verafiable.com or any VERA Platform service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

2. Description of Service

VERA Platform LLC provides release assurance technology including document fingerprinting, policy-based gate evaluation, decision record generation, proof pointer formatting, and audit pack export. VERA is a verification and authorization infrastructure provider. VERA is not a payment processor, custodian, bank, money transmitter, or financial advisor.

3. Demonstration Environment

The public website (verafiable.com) operates as a demonstration environment. All scenarios, entities, outputs, scores, and metrics displayed on the public site are modeled for illustration and do not represent production customer deployments, real transactions, or guaranteed outcomes. Do not rely on demonstration outputs for financial, legal, or operational decisions.

4. Client Portal

Access to the VERA client portal (app.verafiable.com) requires authentication and is governed by separate client agreements. Portal use is subject to additional terms including acceptable use, data handling, and service level agreements as specified in client contracts.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, code, specifications, documentation, and technology on this site and within the VERA platform are the property of VERA Platform LLC and are protected by copyright, patent, and trade secret law. Multiple provisional patent applications are on file with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Unauthorized reproduction, reverse engineering, or commercial use is prohibited.

6. No Warranties

The site and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. VERA does not warrant that verification outputs, decision records, or platform operations will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. VERA does not guarantee the prevention of fraud, unauthorized transactions, or financial losses.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VERA Platform LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the site or services, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or business interruption.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VERA Platform LLC from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the site or services, or your violation of these terms.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
